Last Saturday we pulled out our skates and made sure our kids’ skates still fit.  Then all day last Sunday our kids were convinced that we were going skating.  It seemed to just not matter how many times we said no, they kept asking, “Where are we going skating today?”

Well we are going skating this Sunday (Jan. 29) after church.  We are joining the rest of the church for our Lunch in the Snow event.  Here is what you will need to come:

- Skates (actually you could just come and walk on the ice.  I know a few kids who would love some help skating for the 2^nd time in there life)

- Lunch (you bring it or go get one)

- You.  It would be good for you to come, and this is a great opportunity to invite someone to join us.  You could even say I will bring the lunch.

- Dress for the weather.

So come and have some fun, because it is good to be together.

This Sunday we continue the teaching series on Encountering God.  At Sunnyside we want to be a community that is encountering the love of God.  As part of the Sunnyside community, we are expecting to encounter God as a normal part of our life.   This series looks at some of the attributes of God and this Sunday we will be looking at, “Encountering the goodness of God.”

Sunnyside Wesleyan Church is a multi-site church:  one church in two locations.  For more information, please visit our website: www.sunnysidechurch.ca.
The Downtown location is at the Alumni Auditorium in the Jock Turcot University Centre on the University of Ottawa campus. The service time is Sunday at 10 a.m. (Map)
The Grosvenor location is at 58 Grosvenor Ave.  The summer service time is 10 a.m. (Map)
Services in both locations usually last about 75 minutes.
