I was born in Brockville, Ontario and raised in Orangeville, Ontario where I became a born-again Christian in Grade 6. During my teen years I had many friends who did not attend church on a regular basis, or at all. I found it very difficult to remain faithful to biblical life teachings; however, I did find it easy to remain faithful to my belief in God, and to love Him. My spiritual journey continued in this way until the age of 30 when I started to feel like life was passing by too quickly. I started to become better educated, with the goal of becoming a more engaged and a helpful member of the world. At this time, I also chose to turn completely away from a life of faith, so I could try to make a difference in the world that could be seen, tasted, and touched. I asked God to bring me back to Him if He was real. This way of life led to a spiritual condition that I could not live in, so I gave my life back to Jesus and I have lived daily and hourly since seeking His presence, finding His presence, reading His word and being blessed by His word. I have had a renewed life in the Lord since 2006. I feel very blessed to be working here at Sunnyside as your office administrator, and to also attend here on Sundays. I believe that God has brought me here, and that God is good.
